Toby Update

It is definitely a brain issue. I can begin investigative testing/scans to see where/what, or start him on phenobarbitol to control the seizures but not the tumor, or euthanize. :( Whatever he has is bad enough to have at least 2 seizures at the house this morning plus 2 more in 3 hours at the vet hospital.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to go to Indy and then fly to Houston for the rest of the week, leaving Katie with her dad and his family. That means during the time of our biggest challenge so far, I'll be 1000 miles away from her.

I'm debating between treating with medicine, which would only buy more time with him and possibly increase his suffering - which means boarding him for the week I'm away, or asking Sean to stay here and give him the meds for me while we're gone and I'm not sure he's available.

Or saying goodbye. Today.

I have about 4-6 more hours to think about it.
