Has more patience and tolerance than me. Note this leaves considerable wiggle room ;)

Generally a positive-thinker. Not required full-time, but more often than not thinks the world is ok :)

Independent. Doesn’t “need” me, but wants to be with me. Huge difference. And that implies some space in between the people as well, not having to be together every spare minute – I need my space, too.

Outward thinking – “Do a Good Turn Daily” or “Pay it forward” - is cognizant of the people around him and seeks out ways to help

Actions back up their words – which goes along with trustworthy, reliable

Respectful of other people’s opinions, privacy, wishes… but not boringly so.

Intelligent (and not hurtful) humor. They’d HAVE to have a sense of humor to put up with my goofiness ;)

Loves me! Loves me lots!

Stamina ;) nuff said ;)

But the most important thing, I think, is that the relationship be one that inspires both people. It's that spiritual connection and desire to be the best that you can, and to give the best that you can, I think that's what makes it special.
