Sheryl's Rule: It's Not a Lie if you Sing it

What I want to accomplish is very simple. A database has too much data, which is about to lead to the backups crashing over. So let's archive some data, shall we? Quickly, please?

In order to even begin, there have to be 4 longish documents in the IT department describing in painful detail how the software works, what kind of server it needs, EVERY thing. What security rights are needed by admins and users, you name it, it's in there. These documents are reviewed annually and by golly I KNOW they're in there because I wrote half of them.

Today I filed the "Pretty Please Oh Please Sir May I POSSIBLY Maintain My Own Database" form and it was denied, because NOW there is a 5th document required. Never mind that I've never heard tell of this mysterious #5... and apparently there's no online documentation as to WHAT the document looks like much less instructions how to complete the form... or even a copy of the form itself.

I would dearly love to have #5 on file, if I could only find the form and FILL IT IN (grrrr!). I requested assistance from the Great Document Goddesses, who sent me a link via email which... ... (clicks around on the dozen--plus links on the page) ... as far as I can tell, is completely irrevelant.

Ok, I'll just let the database fill up and crash and fall over while I look for My Precious Word template with precisely the right checkboxes. Ok? Meanwhile, I'll forward all the application support calls to the Document Goddesses. They need something to keep them busy ;)
