I talked to Dad this morning, he's fuzzy but ok. Seems some medicines were interacting on him, prescription and over-the-counter, so he's talking to his doctor to get it squared away. He's now got the highest BP in the family - previously I had the record at 200/100 a day after katie was born (preeclampsia, etc.) .. but his last night was 230+/130+. Way to go Dad! (EEEP)

Driving Miss Katie this morning was a fun experience. She was really wound up last night between her outing with Dad AND THE CANDY (grrr!) (oh, I'll get even, don't worry) - it was after 10:30 before she finally fell asleep. So this morning, guess who's cranky? Oy VEY. We managed to avoid a HUGE meltdown (just a minor scrimmage) and get out the door - her with an old cell phone in hand.

Katie's decided that she's the adult and she's going to work, and chats on the cell phone all the way there. Here's what I overhear... "Oh REALLY. Well I didn't know! ... Oh that's a shame... I'm on my way now... yes? ... mmm hmmm.... oh, hang on, I think I'm losing you."
